In 2005, the anual GDP of the Zone reached 2.2billion Yuan with an average growth of 60.8%, and the GDP per person of the Zone reached 31,428.57 Yuan. The revenue of the Zone reached 1.1580 billioan Yuan and the local revenue reached 57.80 million Yuan. In the past five years ,see the average growth of 32.9% of revenue.
In 2005, the enterprises of the Zone contributes 2.091 billion Yuan with a growth of 148.9% compared with that of last year. The turn-overs reached 2.048 Yuan, also with a magnificant improment of 189%. The industrial input was 1.4 billion Yuan of those enterprises and the taxes reached 3.52 billion Yuan.

　　Strickly under the subject of making great progress, the Zone insists on attracking investment and improving service standard. The Zone is planned to be the center of western Shandong and realize modernization in the year 2020.
　　In the "Eleventh Five Year", the Zone will double its GDP, and pay more attention to attract biochemistry, auto mass production, textiles and steel.
